In partnership with our friends at the Lure Anglers Canal Club, Leamington Members will now be able to fish the Grand Union Canal from the "Moorings" bridge 43 (Europa Way) in Leamington to Stockton locks.
In return, Lure Anglers Canal Club members will be able to fish the river Leam at Newbold Comyn, Welches Meadow, Mill Gardens, Victoria Park and Princes Drive Weir plus the confluence of the Leam and Avon (Town Waters in the Members Handbook) and the canal at Rowington. All anglers must carry their respective membership book to show to the bailiffs.
If you haven't tried the canal recently, you may be surprised by the excellent results. These pictures are from Bascote, Fosse Way and Radford Semele. The roach weighed in at 1 lb 9 oz. (Andrew Whieldon)
LITTER take your litter home.
MEMBERS Always carry your current membership book and Environment Agency Rod Licence.
