For many years, Napton reservoir has been renowned for its tench fishing and this, combined with the crucian carp, bream, roach and specimen carp creates a fishery with something for everyone.

Angling journalist and England match ace Matt Godfrey and his partner in crime and fellow angling journalist Tom Scholey have been down to Napton again. This time around they've made a short video of their brief morning session before work! Enjoy. 

TICKETS - This water is open to Leamington Angling members only. NO day tickets.  Members pay a small daily charge to the bailiff (£3 or £2 for concessions) Members may bring one guest to fish at the reservoir (excludes night fishing). The guest ticket must be purchased in advance. See payment button below.
ALL ANGLERS must have a valid Environment Agency Rod Licence.
LITTER - Make sure you take all your litter home.
NO BOATS, bait boats or drones.
OPENING TIMES - The RESERVOIR is open all year. Fishing from dawn til dusk.

BARBLESS hooks only. 
JUNIORS must be accompanied and supervised by an adult member.
NO sweetcorn or meat tins allowed on site.
THREE RODS per angler. Must not interfere with other users.
COATED BRAID is permitted for hooklengths
KEEPNETS are NOT PERMITTED at Napton Reservoir
All anglers must have an appropriate LANDING NET.
For all larger fish, anglers must use an UNHOOKING MAT. Fish welfare is top priority

PIKE FISHING
Live baiting is prohibited in all Association waters. The use of freshwater fish for bait is prohibited whether as live or dead bait. Using dead bait is permitted only from 1st October to March 14th. Pike fishing with lures is permitted at any time. The use of a gaff is prohibited. 
Your bailiffs at Napton are below. They give their own time voluntarily to help to maintain your fishery.

Its here to help everyone enjoy their fishing and to remove any unnecessary discussions. it's simply the rules.

Members may take one guest to fish at Napton Reservoir. £7 per day.

Please note, Napton Reservoir is not a day ticket fishery. Your Guest Ticket is only valid if you are fishing with a full Member.
